i saw it when i was like 9 or so, so clearly i don't remmeber it that well. but, i remember liking it. i thought it was cute and funny. it may not be a great quality movie but it's entertaining, for kids at least lol

I don't understand the negative reviews either. Granted, it's not an Oscar winning movie, but it is kinda cute. And Bruce Willis is so super hot in this, that it's worth watching.
If you want to see a really bad movie - rent "In the Cut" with Meg Ryan

Education is what's left when you forget what you were taught.
some people aren't willing to embrace a movie like this because it might make them sound silly. they'd rather say "oooh yes, the departed had marvelous cinematography!!" saying they like a movie about a little kid who is trying to find new parents?? not really very impressive.
it's kind of like when people say their favorite book is the catcher in the rye. you say it to sound intriguing, but you probably are a closet goosebumps reader at heart.
