Best Picture Nomination

does anyone here think that Paramount should have nominated this for best picture instead of Forrest Gump. i believe that they only nominated that film as a safe bet since Hollywood likes movies glorying American History and Culture. Nobody's Fool did not get very much attention at the time of its release. i starting to really think they should.

in my own opinion

Forrest Gump only deserved to be nominated for three awards: Best Actor (Hanks), Best Supporting Actor (Sinise) and Best Adapted Screenplay

i recently purchased that film and despite the cover being a little bit ripped down at the back of the other side (whilst trying to remove the very sticky packaging)the box itself became very sticky from the marks it left, so i had to replace the box! boy, is this is a rather strange film with a lack of stereotypes. definitely, one you have watch more than once.

and while you are at it, Quiz Show is also under-rated

studios don't just put up one picture. they campaign for however many they want based on the chances of success.
