She didn't tell him everything??
Can I just ask....
Ok, she told your man everything, the whole truth...but didn't she miss out the fact that she told him she was 16 but she was really 14? Did I miss that part???

I wondered the same thing. It's been awhile since I've seen it though and it's due to arrive after I sent my other movies in, so maybe I can figure out that part then.
shareWell I saw an edited version of it. It skipped the part of when she tells Ben that her father was in prison, it didn't show that part, but I couldn't see why they'd skip the part where she tells him about her age..
sharei'm assuming that she finally did on the beach...like last scene i think it was..
sharethe thing is, if she did then he miraculously didn't get mad....he's seventeen, he thinks shes sixteen, and they're about to kiss, then she says "By the way, I'm fourteen.." and he doesn't get peed of??!
shareeh...he said she was mature...nvm she lied about everything...who knows..
shareWhy would he get "peed off"? She's like the most beautiful girl, and he's only 3 years older! It really wouldn't make much of a difference. And his character is hot and laid back, I'm sure if he forgave her for the whole Andre thing lol, he wouldn't be too anal about a minor increase in age difference.
sharelol, that just kept the theme of her character if she didn't tell him (I don't remember). It isn't that big of a deal either, a lot of girls lie about their age... I'm sure it would come up eventually. It actually would have kicked ass if they had a sequal! Aww :(
It's one of those movies that you just want to keep seeing more of! :D
i actually think three years is a huge diference in teenage years
sharereally?
most of my friends, all "teens" always say "age is just a number"
and thats how most people look at it.
Some time obviously elapses between the fight on the water and the last dance...It's assumed that she told him everything somewhere in between there. I think she told him, it's just implied.
shareThat's strange. I'm 16 and everyone I know sees age as a massive lapse in teenage years. 14 year olds just came out of the 8th grade. And when you're 17 you may have even already graduated high school.
Leah
is really strange.

I watched this movie on DVD just yesturday and there is no scene where she tells him her real age but prehaps its assumed that she told him while they were on the beach and prehaps he always guessed that she wasn't really 16.
