share Contrary to what these uptight idiots in these boards keep saying (that there was pedo stuff in this film), this is a charming comedy about a protective dad trying to bond with his teen daughter. THAT'S IT.
The 'thank Heaven' part is funny because the other people at the resort have been led to believe that this dirty old man is there with this young girl, when in fact he is her father. He is being really sweet, and singing this nice song about his little girl, and they think he's super-sick. THAT'S the joke.
Reminds me of the "Afternoon Delight" scenes from Arrested Development.
