I vote for Brice. He genuinely like Muriel. Swimmer was cute but he was repulsed by her at first.

Brice because he was the only one who genuinely liked her for who she was. I always wish she ended up back with him by the end.

Second would be David (the swimmer) because at least he did end up liking her somewhat. And you can't blame the guy for being turned off by his first meeting with Muriel. She was so goofy!!

Definately the "Are you Black" Swimmer !! That line "Are you black" is even worse than Baby's " I carried a Watermelon"!! But both lines are said for the same reasons,,,being totally tongue tied when confronted by a sexy specimen!

p.s - I would personally rather be single forever than choose awful self centered Chook ("Turkey").

Brice, Chook, David Van Arckle...I choose "D", none of the above! I would have done the same thing as Muriel: started my own life and worked on my self-esteem. Until you are happy with yourself, you aren't going to make anyone else happy.

Brice was such a cutie, and so sincere! I like to think that he and Muriel got back together afterwards.

I also liked the driver who picked up Rhonda to go to her physical therapy appointment. They gave each other such a look!
