Why?
Why is it that the film is set in present time, but all the kids are dressed like they're in the original 1947 movie?
shareI believe John Hughes was trying to gove the movie a timeless quality. Reason: Before Susan gives the judge his "Christmas Card" The Judge Says it is December 24..." He doesn't give the year.
