My dear friend there is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SUCH THING AS RELIGIOUS PROPAGANDA.
No one said that you have to believe in God, you must choose for yourself.
However there is a God, and He is more real than I myself am real, it is my sincere desire that God will reveal Himself to you, more than that I hope that you'll allow God to reveal Himself to you.
It is important to believe in something GREATER than yourself, without Faith life is lifeless.
To look beyond yourself is to acknowlege that you're not not alone in the
Universe, if it were not for God you nor anyone in the world would exist.
It is because of the Divine that life exist, we live in and because of God.
All that we have comes from above, life has meaning because of the Divine Realm, just stop to think about it for a moment.
Learn to live in the HERE AND NOW, every moment that your heart beats is a miracle in and of itself, if you look into the natural world around you, into the various mechanics of the human body, into the vast and wonderous cosmos you cannot but help notice that there is a precise design in the natural world and this design speaks to us of a Designer, of a greater element, a greater Power that is more than we.
There is no reason to not believe in God, it is true that Catholics, Muslims, Communist, Nazis, KKK, Mormorns and many more have proved stumbling blocks to those who would come to God and accept His love and grace, however there is no excuse to not accept God or even turn to Him in time of need.
God is no respecter of persons, His arms are ever open to those who are tired, weary, helpless, hopeless, lonely and neglected.
Just look upward, reach out and grasp the Hand that gave up everything to bridge the void between Heaven and Earth.

'There is no such thing as religious propaganda' screamed out in capitals has already made it quite hard to take anything you say seriously... do you realise how crazy that is? Do you realise the irony of what you are saying?
Firstly; Evangelists have proven to be money making machines that spout merchandise at any chance to make a buck. Scientology, Jehovah’s Witnesses, even Christianity are major culprits. I have no doubt that you are speaking of a single religion (no guesses) so how can you say this? You dont believe that the religions you have listed have not created propaganda against you? Your religion does the same against theirs.
Religion IS propaganda, in it nature. The dictionary says "Propaganda [from modern Latin: 'propagare', "extending forth"] is a concerted set of messages aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of large numbers of people." This is the definition of how religion spreads.
You believe there is a god, fine. But dont tell us such clichéd drivel like 'without Faith life is lifeless' or that 'Catholics, Muslims, Communist, Nazis, KKK, Mormorns are stumbling blocks' because you contradict yourself as they are the same as you, pointing the finger at others saying its their fault, being righteous.
You are certain there is a god? Well, Im certain there isnt.
I ask you, is there reason to believe in god? Why does there have to be a reason to be good? Why not take out all the good things in the many, many religions out there and think for ourselves as opposed to taking word for word a story that has been rewritten over 2000 years and was designed for warring tribes, otherwise we'll never stop being just that.

If you are certain there is no God.... What thoughts pass through your mind when you contemplate Death? Sorry- maybe too personal a question.... but that is precisely why I accepted Jesus Christ at face value and believe he is God's Son.... cuz now when I think about Death- It don't bother me at all... I have peace that passes all understanding, joy that isn't dependant on any situation or experience, love that forgives every wrong thing I've ever done, a new heart that doesn't even WANT to sin but instead glorify God... I'm certain that most would think me to be stupid or insane... but whatever- if you could have one split second of what being a lowly sinner saved by the grace of God feels like- U'd never want your old life again.... but wait- you can have it:)

Of'course the OP from over a year ago is a troll...but in general, if someone had a problem with Christian messages in a normal film then I could actually understand that. Like if religions were mentioned in movies like Die Hard or something. But complaining about Christian messages in a Christmas film is ridiculous and flat out stupid. As commercialized as Christmas has become, it's still only celebrated by Christians. I'll email you a cyber cookie if you can find a Muslim or Jewish person that celebrates Christmas. I don't see why an atheist would literally complain about religious propaganda in a film centered solely around the set of a religious holiday. It just makes you look a bit stupid.

Bullsh!t. I'm an agnostic from a family of scientologists who's best friend is an atheist of Jewish upbringing and we ALL celebrate Christmas.
I also know of someone who's Muslim colleagues all dig Christmas as much as he does, but that's a lot more second hand anecdotally.
Christmas is for anyone and everyone with a sense of fun, just like Halloween (with is also a religious holiday and still celebrated by pagans for it's religious aspect today)
