Is he really Santa Claus or just a crazy old man?

I know its left open to interpretation, but I like to think that he really was Santa.

Yes. Kris Kringle & Scott Calvin are the real Santas. I like to them they're multiple Santas.

Heh, think of it like this; you'd had have to be a crazy old man to take on the role of Santa Claus.
