What happened to the scene at the end with Khris Kringles cane

I thought this film ended with a shot of Khris Kringles cane in the corner of the fire place at the new housebut I just caught the end of this on sky from the court room scene and it never had that scene in it yet I am sure I have seen a version with that scene or am I going mad.

That was the original film with Natalie. This remake doesn't have that scene in it.

They left that out of the remake. They shouldn't have. It's a magical moment
