I did JROTC all four years high school in Alabama, US and I loved it at my school. But when I went to JROTC camp my senior year summer I hated it. The camp (like what you saw in the movie with the bunks) was like boot camp and I felt like I was being punished!lol But i loved to wear the uniform.

Yes its true... Iam from the Phils. too,
I am a Freshman student from De La Salle University-Manila
Well despite the fact that we have right to choose between ROTC or NSTP
I chose ROTC, because I thought that its good
so that I can discipline my self more.... =)

I did JROTC all Four Years in High School started out from nothing and Finnished Excecutive Officer (LT) I loved it. I wished I had gone on to the Military first instead of college now but all well, I also loved wearing the uniform. I loved going to bootcamp for one week during the summer my junior year in highschool.

I did Air Force JROTC all through High School. Loved every moment of it. I finished the year as a Major and Vice Group Commander (Battalion XO). I loved wearing that uniform and performing in drill parades.

I was in Air Force JROTC back in high school and loved it!!! I graduated as a c/Captin and was on our competition drill team for 3 years. I met my husband through ROTC. He was in a Marine unit and was the "enemy". Our schools were always #1 and #2 at meets.

i was also in JROTC in high school all four years. ended cadet Major. 4th in command of the batallion. it was a blast, i was also on the drill team. i loved it, single hand and double hand spinning those 11.5 lbs. rifles was a blast. throwing them in the air, catching rifles others threw. i used to be able to do alot of the moves he did in the movie during the performance, but not that sharpe, he was really good!

JROTC is probably the best experience I've ever had. Our ROTC unit is Air Force, and we are about the tightest group ever. Our drill team is pretty good, too. We were Georgia Drill Team Champions in 2006. We're going to Nationals this year. I'm a C/Master Sergeant (Higher than the handbook says AS-I student can be, biatch!) and I'm Flight B Commander, and NCOIC of the Drill Team, which is an incredible honor for a freshman such as myself. I've become a better person since I joined.
Anyone in GA, FL, SC ever heard of Sandalwood High School? My team hates them. When they win an award, instead of saluting, our commander decides to be an ass (not in a bad way) and doesn't do anything. It's hilarious. We have this really cool exhibiton team move where we brush our shoulders, and they stole it. It sucks, but it's funny to see the looks on everyone's faces when we don't salute and we just stand there.

Bow chicka bow wow!

Interesting to see so many people in JROTC--I don't feel so lonely now. ;)

I'm in JROTC now, in middle school, trying to get a head-start for high school. We won 14 first place county-wide awards last semester, and we're shooting for more this year. I'm an E-1 right now, but I'll be open for E-2 in a month or two. My favorite part in all of it has probably been the jogging in step: the semi-insulting hymns, the shouting, the encouraging, and just the flat out feeling of doing good.

Although I'm in Air Force JROTC right now, I'm pretty undecided on whether I'll go to an NJROTC-based high school, or an AFJROTC-based high school.

And I have to say that the rifle combinations really make the class. =)

I'm about to finish my last year of NJROTC. I was a Company CO, so I'm a Lientenant Commander. I'm planning on doing NROTC at North Carolina State University, if I can get a medical waiver from DoDMERB.

Make it up as you go along and you act as if you really know the song.
