They should have done a sequel

They should have done a sequel when Portman was in her early 20s. Have Uncle Tony need her help because the mob is trying to retire him because he is too old.

So, he calls in an "old" friend to take out his replacement operation in a glorious bloodbath.

Would have been glorious.

not too late, natalie portman is still around. i honestly think once luc besson runs out of sci fi trash he will return to this. kinda ironic he made this movie so he could fund 6th element but it turned out to be his best movie.

reply

So he made sequel to The Fifth Element?

reply

whatever that movie was

reply

This film doesn't need a sequel.

Wasn't 'Colombiana' (2011) supposed the sequel? Well, a spiritual sequel.

reply

I always though, wrongly I now think, that Colombiana was kind of a sequel to Kill Bill, with the main character being Vivica Fox's daughter looking for revenge years later. Makes more sense as a sequel to Leon.

I was fine with the way it ended.
Matilda should not end up as a murderer.
She was just too sweet and innocent for that.

If we did get a sequel then instead have it be where when Matilda may kill it is only in self defense.

She goes to Uncle Tony to get all of the money, in cash with interest, that Leon wanted her to have.
When he says, "No," again she takes it at gunpoint.
He sends goons after her to get it back.
She escapes from them, perhaps killing a few.
She confronts Tony telling him to back off.
When he pulls out a hidden gun she kills him and is now finally free.

reply

Jesus Christ, no.

It's a great, stand alone film. Not everything needs a sequel, although sadly Hollywood thinks otherwise.
