Billy has Asperger's?
Seems odd that Billy knows everything there is to know about baseball and yet has few friends and few other interests. Could he have Asperger's?
shareI don't think it ever comes close to representing him as someone with Asperger's. He's just an 11-year-old who knows the game well and has a bit of a one track mind, which is just a common thing among kids that age. One of my best friend learned four different Star Wars languages and was obsessed with that as a kid. Obsession is just a phase for some kids during those years that comes with growing pains. He does have close friends. He can understand sarcasm and humour. He is able to communicate well and understand the emotions of his players. He gets emotional, but is able to keep his feelings in check and doesn't break down with frustration. He can express what he's feeling. He can lie.
Def not an aspie.
