Why do people hate this movie? I think it works on so many levels. It's a kids movie that doesn't alk down to kids. It's fun, and even for a fantasy movie it's better than let's say Angels in the outfield or Rookie of the year.
uuuuh, no offense but Rookie of the Year is soooooo much cooler than Little Big League, but Little Big League does have its moments. And yes, Angel in the outfield sucks.
im assuming ur a girl, because any baseabll fan would know that little big league is a better movie and much more realistic. I don't mean that as a "girls dont know sports" but the little things do matter. IE the pennant race in Little Big League vs. the "palm ball" in ROY. Just so you know, a palm ball is not a lob, its a fast change up.
Yeah, i agree with imac, except for the girl thing, i don't care about that. Little Big League is much more realistic and plausable. Although not very plausable, it is still more the rookie of the year. Also. rookie of the year was very unrealistic because it showed no regard for the rules of baseball. Like when the last batter in the nineth inning was suppose to be the pitcher but was really the number three holder. also, like imac said, underhand throws are illegal. Lastly, when they trick the runner, the kid is still on the mound without a ball, which is also illegal. Rookie of the year is a good movie but little big league kicks its ass
I think Little Big League was funnier too. Johnathan Silverman is awesome. Every scene that had Daniel Stern in it in "Rookie of the Year" just pissed me off, I almost wanted to punch the tv when Daniel Stern says "I havn't seen the floater since Scuffy McGee." Such and aweful line.
