I just have to say that my brother and I re-enact this bit of diologue all the time - and never fail to crack up laughing.

Lonnie- "Kids today are amazing. I played winter ball down in Venezuela, and they had kids half his age, every one of them speaking Spanish. And that's a hard language!"

Lou- "They speak Spanish in Venezuela."

Lonnie- "I know! That's my point!"

I thought of this in January. My friend and I were in Japan and we would talk about how cool it is that the little kids were speaking Japanese. We know that it's their native language but still in some weird way it was amazing. I brought this up to her she's never seen the movie and it just made us laugh. We're idiots.

Thats a line that you appreciate when your a little older..I remember watching this movie a bunch of times when I was like 8 years old and now I'll watch again today and some parts are so much funnier cause you actually understand em.
