Loved Busfield in this movie as Lou. Love him and the character, I liked the way he didn't completely blow his cool when Billy benched him because he was dating his mom. He knew what was going on and played it cool. Beautifully understated performance by Busfield.

And great athlete acting too, the scene where he reliefs the throw from right field and tosses home plate, looks very very authentic, like a real ball player.

Busfield played baseball in HS. He wasn't a big star or anything but he was on the team.
