One of my favorite movies...

Ever since I discovered Killing Zoe, it's easily become of my favorites. This film is so underrated. And it's not your average bank robbery flick. It's basically about a group of gun wielding drugged out maniacs who actually believe they can rob a bank. If you're into those types of films, I would highly recommend it. I've probably watched it over 20 times. It's such a unique story.

I first saw this around 1994 and have been hooked on it ever since. I’ve been using quotes from it all this time. It’s it’s a shame it’s so under rated.

I know. It's insanely underrated. I just don't understand how such a great movie received so little recognition.

I’m sitting down to watch it now. :)

I've watched it at least over 50 times. No joke. It's one of my all-time favorites. Definitely in my top 20 list.

I know what you mean. Lol. I can’t say enough about how great it really is. The constant use of insane dialogue is what I love about it.

You will know all of these:
-Captain America baby
-When the Saints go marching in
-you know Viking films with the big fucking horns
-where did you get this
-I don’t give a shit about this
-Dr Seuss my tub

The list can go on forever! I rank this side by side with Pulp Fiction. More people should see it. 👍

- Good! Now we do heroin...
- I don't know, it's been sleeping there for days......yes, I think it is dead.
- Why don't you marry a nice girl in the suburbs?!
- F%ck the bank! Before we do a job, we live life!

yesss all good ones. What about when Zed wakes up and everyone is walking past loading their weapons over and over? I’m sure you also caught the Ron Jeremy cameo when he tries to sound the alarm.

reply

Yeah, I remember that part:

- Wake up sleepyhead, we have a bank to rob!

And yes, I noticed Ron Jeremy. The funny thing is, he was told to put his hands in the air, and was literally shot in less than a second for not doing it fast enough. That bank robber was brutal. Didn't even give him a chance.

I saw it a couple of times back when IFC was relatively new, many years before they got bought/sold and turned to mush. 1998-ish maybe? I don't recall loving it. I remember thinking parts of it were good. And I remember thinking parts of it really sucked shit.
