Jungle Book and Tarzan

I recently saw both this version of the Jungle Book and Disney's animated movie Tarzan, and I realize now that the scenes where Jane & her father teach Tarzan about man's world were almost entirely borrowed from this version of the Jungle book where Kitty and the Doctor teach Mowgli those things. The part with the magic lantern/slide projector definitely, and the reading, dressing, etc.

I don't disagree with you, but maybe that's how many "foreigners" learned English in those days?
I'm guessing both films are set at a similar time, like late Victorian or something.
