I haven't seen the movie in a while, but there was one instrumental piece of music that I really liked from the film.
I remember grown-up Mowgli running through the jungle and it is playing.
Does anyone know where I can find songs from the film?
Original soundtrack is by Basil Poledouris ( Milan 74321-24861-2) You should be able to find a second hand copy around. It is a very fine score by the great Basil Poledouris.
The 'jungle book theme' is played during Mowgli's first run with the wolves, and is heard again in an incredible version right after Baloo is shot, as a distressed Mowgli runs in slow motion through the jungle. This running scene is my favourite moment in the whole movie.
Yes, that scene is nice when Mowgli runs through the jungle. I really like the ending scene though, with the music and speaker and the camera view. I must find the soundtrack, love that movie.

shareI finally found a copy of the film and am watching it right now.
The song I am taking about also plays during when young Mowgli and Kitty are dancing (after Blue Danube plays), as well as when adult Mowgli and Kitty are dancing at the ball.
This has one of the greatest soundtracks of a film the last 15 years! Pity it's EXTREMELY RARE, just like the film.
