I was just curious as to what year this is set? And is it the same as the mummy? LIke the 1920's i think but...Thanks to anyone for your help!

I don't know for sure, but the fact that the beginning narration mentions that India is the edge of the world leads me to think of the late 1800's, and the clothes worn during the movie are Victorian. Also that would be the time were English soldiers were being sent to India.
