I was so happy to find this movie at a used dvd store. I have been looking for it for a long time. Who else thinks this movie is underrated big time. It's got a cool story, it's funny, well made and the musical score is amazing in this. I would say some of Basil Poledouris best. specially the scene were mogli is running to get the doctor when Baloo is hurt. Anyways. I think it's a cool movie.

I definitely think this movie is SO overrated. I love the story, acting is great, music is beautiful and haunting, cinematography is amazing...I could go on for hours. I love this film!
Yes, the music in the running scene describes Mowgli's pain and courage to save his friend so perfectly.
Agreed. Don't love it, but I used to enjoy it plenty when I was younger, and was surprised to find it holds up pretty well watching it now.
