94 on RT, but 5.8 on IMDb?!?!?!?!
What the heck? This movie deserves way better than a 5.8. I remember this film when I was a kid growing up. It was one of my favourites to own on VHS. I just wish that I had the chance to buy it when it came out on DVD way back in 2002. I guess my best bet is to look around pawn shops or get lucky in like a Best Buy, Wal*Mart, or a Future Shop (I'm Canadian). This movie was just so mesmerizing and beautiful. The acting was top notch, and I loved Cary Elwes as the villan, and the rest of the cast was great too, especially Jason Scott Lee. WOW was he ever great in the film. And ripped too. The cinematography is what really got me hooked into this beautiful gem of a film. Probably one of my favourite Stephen Sommer films, next to The Mummy of course. But this film showed that he can really direct without going CGI overkill like he did with G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which was still a fun film, and better than Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen (IMHO). What do you guys think? I know that there have been numerous posts like this before, but I figured that I'd refresh it with a new one. Post your comments down below and I'll try to respond to as many as I can.
Thanks guys and gals for reading.
Fiery the angels fell. Deep thunder rolled around their shores... burning with the fires of Orc.
