Lestat flipped out over it and looked sick. I watched this many years ago so I can't remember if it was explained or not. I seen the scene earlier this morning on Starz so I figured I'd ask. Thanks.

Old post.... new response. The vampires are dead theoretically so they need living blood to live. Dead blood = no life to the undead
