I've seen every Coen Bro's movie except the Ladykillers, and this is the only one featuring Steve Buscemi in which he doesn't die. I feel cheated.

I don't recall him dying in Barton Fink.

Wow, I'm late at responding, but really, think about it. Barton is six floors up, Chet (Buschemi) probably in the lounge. I think it's highly likely he would have escaped. But really the film is a surreal film so for all we know Chet might have never existed. Just a thought :)
