'The Castle' meets 'It's A Wonderful Life'.

The Hudsucker Proxy is the perfect integration of the 'Kafkaesque' and the 'Capraesque'. Probably the Coen's most underrated movie, and certainly one of my favourites. Whilst the narrative utilises the best aspects of a Capra script, it contains those absurdist and dark elements of Kafka, which combine to create an interesting balance.
