Check out the book
For anyone who cannot get enough of this wonderful documentary, I highly recommend the book "Hoop Dreams" by Ben Joravsky. The book fills a lot of holes and gives details that couldn't be fit into the movie. One thing I never figured out was who Joravsky was to be so close to the situation.
What a fantastic story, can't wait to get the DVD.
