141 pounds?!

"141 pounds, age 11"
I'm a little surprised, I thought he weigh more than that.
What was his height? Cause I know a lot of kids are about 140 pounds and they don't seem fat at all!

I thought that was a little strange as well because I was a chunky kid myself and was friends with a fellow chunky kid who weighed close to 200 and was similar size to Jerry

It was really weird to me because I'd seen this movie since I was about 7, and when I was 11 I WAS 140 pounds, and I'm a girl, and I didn't look like that at all.

He probably was heavier, but the filmmakers didn't want to humiliate the kid too much. Unless he was just really short, 141 lbs does sound low.

What people aren't realising is that Ben Stiller is a 5ft 6" dwarf. So, the fat kid is under 5ft. 141lb for a sub 5ft adult would be close to obese - so, a kid would be classed as obese due to less musculature (muscle weighs 1.5x fat, so you can allow adults, with more muscle, to be heavier than kids).
Also, in the film, doesn't he gain 9lb (150lb total)?

muscle does not weight more than fat. a lb of fat is a lb of fat. just like a pound of muscle is a lb. fat simply takes up 3 times the space as muscle

141 pounds is fat at 11. I was 100 pounds at that age, and I remember because it was the first time I weighed that much. Of course the fat kid in class weighed 140...

That's a blanket statement. All 11 year olds are not the same height, they don't all have the same muscle buildup.

141 pounds is big for an 11 year old. Where I'm from in little league football the weight limit for ball carriers is 140 for the 12-13 age group. His age range the weight limit would be 115. He's not the fattest kid ever but 140 is rather big for his age.

My son is 12 and is 5'8 and 132lbs. He's lanky as all get out,
I'm guessing the kid was pretty short.

Children's Tylenol Suspension says on the box that kids aged 11 should weigh between 72-95lbs.
