not really because they were in charge of two different drug rings, Esteban=Heroin and Corky=Base Cocaine. but im sure Esteban and James had beef because they sold the same product.

no they werent as the guy said they ran two different drug rings had different clients and all that. fresh lied bout corky wanting to get into the heroin racket but that was it

It seemed to me that Esteban didn't like Corky because he didn't like the drugs he sold. Esteban felt his drug was like a gentleman's drug where Corky's drug was a low life drug. It might be that Corky didn't like Esteban because of him acting superior. In the end I don't think they cared enough about each other to have any real rivalry until Fresh put them against each other.
