The only thing missing from this movie is Spike Lee's face behind it and Al Sharpton coming out against it.

Wow, You say this movie is pointless and it shows what is wrong with the black community. That is the point of the movie! It is mainly a commentary on what is wrong with the black community. I don't know why you think this film glorifies these things. This movie does the opposite of glorify drugs, violence, poverty etc. What kind of meth are you on?

Saying that Fresh glorified all those things is like saying that Casualties of War glorified kidnapping and rape.

Yeah apart from the fact that they don't happen in every community. Every community isn't going round selling heroin and killing each other. I suppose it's da white man's fault for keeping em down though
shareIt is very violent but remember its entertainment regardless of the content. For me its PURE nostalgia. I first saw this in 1994 when I was eight years old and I'm from New York. I havent seen it in at least 10 years I plan on watching it. I know its gonna literally take me back in time especially the movie's score. I just get chills thinking about it. I think I wanna make a list of all old school urban new york movies.
