When someone has a life-threatening heart issue at a British wedding...

...quietly (QUIETLY!) carry that person out of the way of the guests, preferably into a room where no-one who could potentially help can see or hear anything. The LAST thing we want to do in Britain is cause a scene. Wedding speeches > dying man.

Then, stare sadly and helplessly at the dead or dying body for a few minutes. Friends may walk in and out silently.

Do NOT attempt any life saving actions of any kind. You may gently lift and lower the victim's head, but nothing more.

Then, after assuming the man must be dead (because really, at this point, how could he NOT be?), quietly (QUIETLY!) find the unavoidably deceased's loved ones and whisper (WHISPER!) something along the lines of "hey mate, good show, Gareth's popped his clogs, join us in the drawing room after the speeches?"

I look forward to your next syllable with great eagerness.
