The worst movie ever!!!!!

This movie had a bad story line, bad cast, no plot and when in the cinema I walked out. This movie is worth 0 out of 10 and should be voted the worst movie of all time.

Have you ever seen the movie?

It's a great movie. Everything you said about it I believe the opposite. I thought the plot carried it along nicely (it's The Flinstones, c'mon -- how much plot do you expect?) The set design was terrific. The acting was done very well for what it is (and who they are trying to portray.) I loved it.

Thanks for the troll. Now you may move along to other boards and also proclaim those movies "the worst movie ever," because we all know that is such an original remark.

How about explain why they were bad actors, a bad storyline and no plot? Then maybe your comments would make sense. This definitely isn't the best movie ever, but it's a good one.

reply

I walked out on this movie half way though, John Goodman and Rick Moranis you couldnt have pick two of the worst actors I have ever seen and the rest of the cast was even worst. The story was straight from the cartoons with no originality or plot ideas.

reply

Hello!!! It's a remake of a cartoon!

reply

Something new but what do except from the US film industry.

look here mate this is,nt the worst movie ever the casting was brillant the plot as good and the set was remarkable

reply

What I disliked about this movie is that they tried to recreate too many gags from the cartoon. The 60's cartoon was so campy that it makes me cringe to see all the puns and silly sight gags lifted directly from the show. Just so they could make profit off of nostalgia. After the first 15 minutes, I was like "OK, I GET IT! IT"S BASED ON THE CARTOON!!" Now how about an original storyline and concept? I didnt really think it was worth seeing more than once. Except for Halle Berry, of course.

So you actually like adaptions that differs from the original? Youre a weird person, arent you?

Hahaha...

Have YOU ever seen the movie?
Apparently, you're very hippocritical of yourself there, but. You said that you walked out half-way through, and are asking others who dare say you're wrong if THEY'VE ever seen the movie??

You didn't even see the entire movie, so who are you to judge the movie when you haven't even given it a shot by watching it from beginning to end?

That's the same thing as if I just watched the trailer, and based upon the trailer, I say "oh that movie sucked! Worst movie ever!!!11!1one1!"

reply

You must not watch a lot of movies. Even if you think this is bad, there are far, far worse films out there.

And the visual effects are done very well. Thus, regardless of anything else, it cannot be considered the worst movie of all time.

Stick with critiquing easier things pal...dog shows perhaps? Movies just don't suit you.

I don't think it was the worst ever. The set design and most of the cast were dead on (cept the Rubbles). I didn't like the fact they played Fred as dumb, when he was far from the oaf in the cartoon as the movie showed.

reply

Worst? No way. Its on my top ten list for me.
1. Back to the future
2. Pinchcliff gran Prix
3. Ghostbusters
4. Roger Rabbit
5. Star Wars 4
6. Flintstones (i rated 10 of 10 btw)
7. T M N Turtles

Starwars3: RotS. That is the worst Starwars- and movie i have ever seen.
Boring, talk, pointless battle scenes, Had NOTHING to do with starwars at all, The worst thing was that i watched about 2 hours to see 2 min of Darth Vader(???) aaaaargh

reply

Your top ten list sucks and you need to watch more movies!

Back To The Future, Ghostbusters, and Roger Rabbit were good movies, but I wouldn't put them on my top 10. There are far better movies than those three!

reply

You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! This film was made for ONE reason: To make money! They didn't care about plot. They just figured they would make it look visually appealing and that's all they needed.
It was embarrassing watching John Goodman portray Fred. It was like watching a drunk at a party try to impersonate someone.
And Liz Taylor....uh...what was she ON to make this movie?
When I first rented this in the 90's I SPED through it with my VCR. It was so boring and I just kept waiting for SOME intelligent story. It never happened.

reply

Worst movie ever? Are you nuts? This was a great movie! I liked the cast but I did have my thoughts on Betty. Son of the Mask is the worst movie ever. The Flintstones was a film that worked very well.

What the hell were people expecting. The acting was bad? It was on point with the cartoon, were you expecting Oscar worthy performances? This was a flick made for entertainment which I thought it did very well. You can't expect Marlon Brando acting jobs when your trying to portray Fred Flinstone.

reply

I agree, this is very far from the title of "Worst movie ever". I liked this movie alot when I was younger, and still do by the way. My only problems is Hallie Berry and Rosie O'Donnel. Still Berry was hot.

More human than human here!
