i watched this movie yesterday because it was supposedly like plague dogs and watership down.
let me just say, that watership down and plague dogs are both really good movies. felidae does not compare, in my opinion. i think that the story was not good, and it just wasnt very tasteful. also, the animation was just terrible especially compared to martin rosen's films. im disappointed.
is any one else?
Well, I've just finished watching Felidae, and I agree, it doesn't live up to expectations, if you want another Rosen movie.
But I also admit, that I enjoyed this flick.
Not that spectacular, but not bad either.
I don't know whoever said it has that much in common with Plague Dogs or Watership down, but besides that nightmare scene, I didn't find too many similarities.
Just watch it as something of its own, and you'll like it better I think.

shareit s like a dark gory stupid disney movie.... there was too much fantasy and the dialogues were soooo monotonous... diappointing
constantly monologues and dialogues like this....
"this killing wasn t like the others... it had been an execution, x hadn't even struggled. he consented to it. what was so incredibly important that x would sacrifice himself..."
it just doesn t make any sense and over and over again... and cats using computers, reading, having visions... may be it makes more sense in the book, but the screenplay was shoddy
These films have in common only two things. The main characters are lifelike drawn animals and they are animated movies for adults and adolecents.
Apart from that, they belong to completely different genres.
The plague dogs is a road-movie, watership down is a chronicle of a rabit´s life and felidae is a modern film noir (just with colour an cats).
If you like classical film noir like the maltese falcon, the night of the hunter, the third man or D.O.A and also animated movies, then felidae is perfect for you, but if you´re not that keen on murder mysteries, then you you´ll not have that much fun watching it.
