Which isnt saying much, as most biographical movies are wildly inaccurate, but it's true. Most of the events shown in the film actually happened.

There's some humor and its not 100 historical, but Ed Wood's life was often fairly comical.
I say its borderline parody. They definitely took creative liberties. Like Bela Lugosi never swore in his life but he swears all the time in the movie and its obviously hilarious because of it. Ed Wood never thought of Plan 9 as his Citizen Kane either. I read that the feud between Karloff and Lugosi was highly fictional as well.
