Man on the Moon Foreshadowing?
When Lloyd Christmas was waiting on his late "girlfriend," he gets all depressed at the bar. He eventually leaves the bar but on his way out, he questions a framed newspaper depicting the first man on the moon. Flash forward to 1999 where he plays Andy Kaufman in "Man on the Moon." Anyone else think that's kinda creepy?
In addition, the "Man on the Moon" song by REM is basically one big question to Andy Kaufman whether or not he believes the moon landing actually occurred. This is very similar to the shock Lloyd has upon learning of the moon landing. Yup, all this strangeness from one trivial scene in Dumb and Dumber.
