Well now, I watched this movie purely for Mädchen Amick (who I adore). I really didn't expect it to be any good.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a good plot, good acting and good direction. It kept twisting and kept you thinking. Until the end when we are led to expect some killer of killer twists and something really special. Instead we get a total cop-out! How utterly lame is that?! It's almost as if they got to the 90 min mark, but only had the studio rented for another five minutes so they said "Ok lads, let's just wrap it up here. No time for anything else"

What a let down!!

As the Time Out review put it, "promising material, disappointingly frittered away"

Yeah, I could see the end coming. I know the same plot device has been used elsewhere, can't remember where though. And here is a spoiler....it takes longer to do that to someone than in the movie.

Hey, I loved the ending! I never saw it coming, and made the movie, relativly boring up to that point, well worth watching.

I thought the ending was pretty weak too. And I agree with elizzaba, it takes a lot longer to kill something by choking. She should have been passed out, not dead. Really lame.

No, no, no! You and elizzaba are wrong. Madchem Amick has a really skinny neck.
Her neck is as skinny as Genevieve Bujold's in "Anne of a Thousand Days."

i loved the ending. it was satisfying for me to watch him kill her. even though i said the same thing, he let go too soon.

I found the ending to this film to be very satisfying. That conniving and calculating little bitch totally got her just desserts.

I found the ending of this movie to be very unsatisfying for the simple reason that it was preposterous. It's not a get-out-of-jail-free-card for murder just because someone has been committed to a mental institution. There are many examples of mental hospital patients killing someone while confined and being tried as a "sane" person in court.

I thought the ending did leave a bit to be desired for, but it was still quite satisfying. I was happy for the guy.

I hardly cared about the film though. Most of the time I was just picking my jaw off the ground from how attractive Madchen Amick was. Her look in this film really did for me, goddamn.

Absolutely. She is completely adorable. But if you liked her in this, she is even more jaw dropping in Twin Peaks!

Madchen Amick in this film is proof that even women can be absolutely evil and in that, they deserve every slap, punch or strangulation, coming to them. But, goddamn. Was she ever sexy with her clothes off in this movie!
