Pretty good, pretty good

This came on tv late at night. I'd never heard of it. Wasn't expecting much. But it was James Spader, so I watched it. (My my, wasn't he just so handsome back then? Sigh.) Anyway, this turned out to be pretty good.

It was unrealistic, of course. Someone like Spader's character couldn't possibly be that stupid, and no one like that woman could possibly have planned out all the little things so far in advance. Still, if you suspend your disbelief about some things, it's a pretty good flick.

I think I've liked everything that Spader has been in, come to think of it. He plays a great mean character, and also a great good character. And of course, he plays the handsome bad guy to perfection.

Worth a watch, if you run across it on tv late one night. I think you'll like the ending, too!
