The scene that absolutely goes the hardest...
I recently decided to rewatch this on blu-ray for a trip down memory lane. One particular scene that really hit me emotionally was right after he kills Tin-tin and hits him with the "Victims, aren't we all?" line and it immediately drops into Medicine's "Time Baby III" and we can see T-Bird trail his hands over Eric Draven's photo. I don't know why but it gave me goosebumps. There was something about the combination of it being an allegory for Brandon Lee's real life death and subsequent remembrance but also coming back and watching a movie that the first time I had probably seen in theaters at age 12. It was like a memoriam for my own childhood in that brief scene and I had a flood of recollections from that time.
Also the way that Medicine's performance really exemplifies that grimy 90s grunge/industrial vibe really brings it all home.
Goddamn what an amazing movie.
