that's all i wanted to say.i have to give the props where it's due.shame none of the cast were given any accolades beacause that would have been well deserved.

I agree. this cast was great especially Troy and her father.

Right On. Alfre Woodard should have gotten at least an Oscar Nomination!. I loved every minute of this film. Pure Genius.

Definitely a classic. A must have in the DVD collection.
