When Troy finally got to the Aunt's house, what was the reason the camera shots from then on looked like it was stretched length wise? And did the kids actually know what happened to Queenie?

reply

I read or heard spike say that he did the cameras like that on that scene to show how out of the element troy was, how different that type of environment was from what Troy was used to.

I dont think they kids knew that Queenie was in the couch because when she first came flying out, both viola and troy were in shock.

Thanks. I asked this because usually when Spike does a movie, he does different camera shots to symbolize different things. I couldn't figure out what he was trying to symbolize here.
