I always wondered why "Troy" stole all that garlic and one little package of meat from the grocery store cause she didn't want to use the food stamps? I've never seen anyone eat garlic like that, and she was suppose to be getting dinner. Although I don't condone it in reality- if you're going to steal, at least steal well.

Yea, i'm not sure why she stole such a little bit of food, because it would seem that her mother had sent her for more than that. Maybe she knew she was supposed to buy more, but just chose to steal a smaller pack of meat so it could fit in her shirt... but then, like you said, wouldn't her mom just have sent her back for more??
