People Make the World go round is one of my favourites as well. There's a new version that Marc Dorsey recorded for the soundtrack which is amazing. It wasn't in the film but is a really interesting interpretation of the classic.

I seem to remember the Jimi Hendrix song 'Hey Joe' being in the film, when Vic (the vietnam vet who lives in the flat upstairs) gets arrested. But it wasn't on the official soundtrack. Am I wrong? I'm sure I remember hearing 'Hey Joe' in Crooklyn.

this goes to tt j campbell. Yeah Hey Joe was in the movie and you're not wrong. The soundtrack was great. At least the songs from the movie were.

To say this is a so so movie is an insult. Obviously people relate to this movie in different ways but this movie is much better than many films with higher scores.

Love it when Soul Train is playing with "Crooklyn" as the ending theme music.
