Doesn't deserve the relatively low rating..Lots of laughs..Palance is perfect as a crusty old cop who has very little tolerance for sentiment, like....mowing lawns, ("If I had a lawn, I'd kill it.") Laugh out loud moment for me...A sight gag, you have to see it..Chase introduces his son, and he appears as a miniature cartoon-like silly faced vampire...

Its a little too low, but the movie wasn't really all that great. Entertaining in parts, but too much stupidity to be really funny.
