Apropriate?

Is this apropriate(sp?)for my 5-year old niece?My sister put it on for her because she thought they were talking about the big red dog.I turned it off because I noticed it was not the right clifford and my niece started crying.Then my sister cussed me out because of this.Who's right?

Oh man, that's what happened with my mum! When I around that age (im 16 now) she got the movie for me, thinking it was Clifford The Big Red Dog. Its an 'appropriate movie' but I don't think your neice will understand any of it - It's one of my favorite movies.. hilarious!!!

It's definitely an appropriate movie. She won't get any of it, but that's all right. There's two (three?) uses of damn, one use of hell, and one use of sh--, but that's just about it. It's mostly just maniacal comedy.

i have to say i don't think it would be appropriate for a 5 year old. granted, most of the adult/sexual inuendo would go right over her head, but the last "larry the SCARY rex" scene would probably give her nightmares.

There's no nudity what the heck are you talking about? you see nothing, it's just like he walks in on a lady in the bathroom but you don't see anything.

there is nudity.. when Clifford is watching the television with the topless dancing ladies. It might have been a tribal dance? It's extremely brief.. and you might not catch it the first time watching it.. but its there.
