it says it was filmed years before it was released in 1994,

so anyone know when it was filmed?

I knew it! When I was looking at it I thought to myself, "This doesn't look '94ish, this looks really really early 90s, almost late 80s." Why did it take so long to be released?

Yes, it was filmed in 1990 to be released in 1991. However, due to Orion's financial troubles, they had to leave films on the shelf for several years until they could release them. I think they should have buried this bomb.
