Martin could've handled it differently...

It was obvious from the start Uncle Martin didn't have the patience to deal with kids, let alone a kid like Clifford. When his nasty boss tells him to redesign the model, Martin had to cancel the trip to Dinosaurworld. Now in the next scene when they're in the car, perhaps Martin didn't clearly explain his predicament to Clifford, since his nephew apparently didn't understand...or care. But all that aside, couldn't they have just gone to Dinosaurworld that day anyway? I mean, Martin was able to take time out and go to Sarah's parents' for dinner.

So I think that if Martin had handled that situation a tad differently, he could've avoided ALOT of trouble.
