It was one of the best parts, too.
They cut it from the DVD. They basically just included the pan-and-scan, edited TV version of the film, complete with edited swearing. I'm surprised the National Geographic nudity was kept intact.

No, actually, if you read the "Alternate Versions" section on this very same IMDB page, you'll see that the video/theatrical version has ALWAYS been missing these scenes, and that they were most likely added to the TV version as filler or padding so that it would fit into a standard time slot.
shareYes, I know. But not all channels air these scenes. In fact, Comedy Central is one of the only channels that airs the film on TV with the extra scenes. Surprisingly, Disney Channel used to, also, but now it seems they no longer air these segments. The DVD includes the old VHS version, which was also edited. Some of the funniest scenes in this film are often edited out, which is a shame, because they also add a lot of clarification in terms of humor - it really becomes apparent after you see these clips that the film was never intended to be for the kiddies. I wouldn't even call it a family film, really. It's kind of a twisted, subversive dark comedy.

Well right, I'm not disagreeing with that, I'm just saying the DVD isn't the "edited" version, the TV version is EXTENDED it's had extra scenes edited into it. Nitpicky? Perhaps!
shareI just received this DVD in the mail today and was also VERY disappointed that they left out that scene. I LOVED that scene. I wish they had included both the regular and extended cuts.
Does anyone know if the extended is available anywhere?
I just got it the other day and hadn't seen it since I was a kid. I was wondering where that scene went, and I swore I remembered it, but then I figured maybe I was remembering a scene from a different movie I saw as a kid or else going crazy. I'm glad to know that I was remembering correctly.

I made my own dvd to include this scene. I used a version from the disney channel and the the dvd and recut all the missing scene back into the film.
