Just imagining Martin Short's face in this film makes me crack up. It wasn't a great film by any means, in fact there were many things wrong with it. Nevertheless, it still managed to keep my interest and made me laugh.
When is the DVD being released?
I can't wait to get my copy for the bargain bin price of $7.95, or lower.
"Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends."
This film should have a slightly higher score on this site. It's not THAT bad. The film did start falling apart at the end in the amusement park scene though. Martin Short is the best.

I heard they butchered the DVD by removing scenes such as the one where he dumps his face in the cereal, and also the one where he steals the dog or whatever. I'm waiting to see if this can be confirmed. If it is the case, I don't really know if I want to buy the DVD. So sad.

I hope that is not the case because I just ordered the DVD. But even if those scenes are omitted what choice do I have? It's not like this film is going to be seeing another DVD release anytime soon.

Please do reply your findings once you receive the DVD. They will be appreciated. And you're right, this will certainly be the only DVD clifford ever to be released. I seriously did not expect it to ever be released in the first place. And if we enjoy the movie, I guess it's the best we're gonna get. And it's only about 10 bucks, so the money is not a big deal either. I guess it's the point of it, I don't want to have a faulty product. I will get aggravated every time I watch it, wondering why they had to take them out. I guess it's just me to dwell on the imperfections rather than the good things about clifford. It's a great movie, I'll probably end up getting it with or without the editing.

I finished watching the film and the part where Clifford gets his head dunked into the cereal bowl by his uncle is there on the dvd. There is also a part where all the people that got their belongings stolen by Clifford are complaining to a airport security guard.
I hope that helps.
