Freddy Got Fingered must have drawn some inspiration from this movie
I saw "Clifford" for the first time today (on TV) and was struck by the similarities between Clifford and Tom Green's character Gordon in "Freddy Got Fingered", which I think is an underrated comedy. I think Tom Green must have been at least partially inspired by this film when he made FGF; the plot is similar (man-child character makes life living hell for his father/uncle) and the speech patterns and over-exaggerated politeness of Clifford are uncannily similar to those of Gordon. Did anyone else get this feeling?
