holy jeese one of the funniest movies ever

this movie is f*#@* hilarious. sure the whole plot and everything
aren't the best but if you can tell me you didn't die laughing at
martin shorts face when uncle martin asks him "cant you just look like
a normal boy for 2 seconds".... he's so creepy its awesome... maybe a
stupid movie but definitely awesome in my book.

Oh yeah. I remember watching this movie when I was about 7 or 8 and thought it was kinda.....eh, ok. But man, my brother found it on DVD for $8.00 at Suncoast, we popped it in, and were unable to go to sleep that night. We woke our parents up we were laughing so hard. Ok, so maybe Martin Short did sort of fall flat on his face for this one. Sure, Charles Grodin became a worldwide TV personality with his MSNBC show. And what's a great actress like Mary Steenburgen doing in this brainless pile of Hollywood crap anyways? I'll bet they all regret it, but this movie, like Freddy Got Fingered is a movie that's so bad that you just can't help but laugh at it.

aw man, this movie was hysterical but...stuart from madtv? what were you thinking. madtv is a horrible "poor man's" version of snl which was and always will be the supreme skit tv show. second is mr show and from there take anything else and change the channel. i prefer to watch that one eyed nun then one skit of madtv. sorry if you love it so much, its bland and repetitive to me and everyone else i know.

the normal boy face had me laughing just thinking about it now. one of my favovite parts is when he asks charles grodin why the girl looks like "this" and pulls all the skin in his face up.

I don't get it... Clifford is a gem! And that scene you mention is one of the funniest 20 seconds in a film that I can remember in a longtime!

What bothers me most is the fact that people are saying Martin Short didn't pull-off playing a 10 year old. EXCUSE ME??? I had to keep reminding myself that he was a grown man! Puuuuleeeeezzzze!

People just don't let their imaginations run wild anymore I guess.

Clifford is an original and I guess that's why it gets the bad rating and remarks. That's ok though, when I've run my dvd of Clifford down to the bare disc and it won't play anymore I'll know a fresh copy awaits me at my local dvd store - dust and all.

Woot! Another Clifford fan! I love this movie. I first saw it when I was like 7 or 8 and at the very rare chance when it's on I watch it. I love it so much. I love the part when Clifford tapes over the answering machine. "Hi, my uncle Martin's not here right now, but I'll give you a hint: KABOOM!" LOL, that might not be the exact quote but it's close enough. Good times. I love it.

I also don't understand why people give this movie so much guff. Sure, it's not a comedic gem, but it's still a funny and enjoyable movie. Everyone puts on such good performances. It may seem odd that Martin Short plays a 10-year-old boy but you have to admit it was a convincing act.
