I haven't read the book so maybe it is addressed there, but wouldn't the mob come after Reggie Love since they know she was involved in helping Mark find the body? Even if they can't find Mark in Witness Protection, wouldn't they still go after Reggie? She doesn't seem too worried about it.
shareI don't think so. The entire premise of the movie is that Muldano acted rashly by killing the congressman and involving Romy in the scheme. In the end the mob cleaned up its own mess by killing Muldano. Killing Reggie (or anyone else indirectly involved) would just turn the spotlight back on the mob. The Sways might still be a target because of what Romy might have told Mark in the car, but the incidental characters would probably be safe.

They would just as soon come after Roy, but both Reggie and Roy would've been huge public figures after something like this and if anything happened to either of them, the focus would've been completely on the mob (something that the head guy seemed to want to avoid at all costs, considering how he took care of his own family at the end).
