You got to be kidding. The premise of the story was just dumb. If the kid had immediately told the police what he knew, he would not have been in danger. The FBI would have gotten the body and arrested Barry. The kid's part in it would have been over. Once the FBI had the body, there would be no reason for the mob guys to kill the kid.

The kid and reggie go to the boat house to look for the body? I can understand the kid doing something that stupid (the kid always made the dumb choice in every move) but the laywer? Are we supposed to believe this?
